ICE and USMS Release Records
ICE detention and U.S. Marshals custody are separate federal paths. ICE's Online Detainee Locator System, or ODLS, concerns immigration custody. USMS manages many people arrested or detained in federal criminal cases and arranges placement and transport through contracted facilities. Neither system is the Latimer County jail, even when the county temporarily held the person.
No official source reviewed identified the Latimer County Detention Center as an ICE contract detention facility. No federal immigration detention center was located in the county. That finding does not rule out an individual ICE hold or a U.S. Marshals pickup. It means the authority must be established from the actual jail discharge or transfer entry rather than inferred from the building.
A county charge can end while federal custody begins at once. In that event, the person was released from Latimer County's control but not released to the community. Ask who received custody and use that agency's process.
Search ICE Detainee Custody
The ICE Online Detainee Locator provides two official search methods. The first uses the person's A-number with country of birth. The second uses biographical details. An A-number is an immigration identifier, not a BOP register number, a county booking number, or an Oklahoma DOC number.
- Choose the A-number route when the correct identifier and country of birth are known.
- Otherwise use the biographical search and enter the requested identity details carefully.
- Review the result as an ICE custody response, not a county or federal criminal-court record.
- If no match appears, verify spelling, identifiers, and the agency named in the county transfer.
- Use the federal case or USMS route when the underlying matter is federal criminal custody instead.
No authoritative source was located for a fixed period during which a released ICE detainee stays searchable. Do not promise a historical display window. A failed ODLS search does not prove community release and may mean the person is outside ICE's searchable custody data or was handled by another authority.
ICE Custody Search Fields
The search inputs and returned information serve immigration-custody identification. They should not be mixed with county-jail release fields. Begin with the county transfer record when the custody chain started in Latimer County, then use ODLS only after ICE is identified or reasonably indicated.
| Search route | Required distinction |
|---|---|
| A-number and country of birth | Uses the immigration identifier with the corresponding country information. |
| Biographical search | Uses the identity details requested by the live ICE interface. |
| County booking number | Belongs to the Latimer County event and is not an ODLS identifier. |
| BOP register number | Belongs to the federal prison locator, not ICE detention. |
| Federal case number | Supports court and USMS follow-up for a federal criminal matter. |
ICE custody is separate from the criminal charge that may have preceded it. The immigration locator does not replace the county release sheet, and a county release sheet does not establish current ICE placement without the receiving-agency detail.
U.S. Marshals Custody Records
The U.S. Marshals Service assumes custody of many people arrested federally. It arranges detention, transportation, and contracted space until acquittal, release by the federal court, or transfer to another placement. A person may therefore be physically held in a local or contract facility while legal custody belongs to USMS.
The USMS custody and detention information explains that role, but it is not a public national name locator. For a pending federal defendant, use the federal court case, the appropriate marshal district, and the identified holding facility. The court docket can establish an order, while the custodian records the physical movement.
For a sentenced person who later enters the federal prison system, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons release locator. BOP results and USMS pretrial custody are not interchangeable. A person absent from BOP data may still be under federal pretrial authority.
Federal Custody Records Contact
No local ICE detention address, USMS facility address, or federal release desk was identified in Latimer County research. The correct contact depends on the agency named by the sheriff or federal court. A generic local inquiry cannot replace that authority check.
ICE detention / U.S. Marshals custody
ICE search: Online Detainee Locator System
USMS information: Prisoner operations
USMS individual follow-up: Federal court case, responsible marshal district, and known holding facility
Latimer County status: No documented ICE contract facility located
A useful inquiry gives the full name, county booking or federal case number, exact date range, and the receiving authority shown by the last record. Ask whether the agency still holds the person, transferred custody, or completed its own release. Request the existing movement or release record rather than a newly created summary.
Latimer County Federal Transfer Trail
The Latimer County sheriff's official duties include transports to courts, medical facilities, ODOC, mental-health facilities, juvenile facilities, and extraditions. This local transport role is the reason a vanished county booking cannot be treated as a community release. The receiving agency is the key field.
Call the Latimer County Detention Center at 918-465-4012 and ask whether a named person remains physically held. If not, request the date and time county custody ended, the release or disposition code, and the destination or receiving agency. When staff cannot provide enough by phone, send a written request to the sheriff's records custodian for the jail-register entry and booking or release sheet.
If the answer names ICE, use ODLS and the provided identifiers. If it names USMS, use the federal case and correct marshal district. If it names BOP after sentencing, allow for federal intake and use the federal prison locator. Each step follows documented custody instead of treating a transfer as freedom.
Federal Transfer or Community Release
County and federal records describe different parts of the event. The Latimer jail records when local custody ended. ICE, USMS, BOP, or another receiving authority records what followed. A complete finding should preserve both timestamps and avoid collapsing them into one “release date.”
| County record says | Meaning and next check |
|---|---|
| Released to community | Confirm the operational time and the court authority; check for any separate known hold. |
| ICE pickup or detainer | Local custody ended, but use ODLS or ICE contact for immigration custody. |
| USMS pickup | Follow the federal criminal case and responsible marshal district. |
| BOP transfer | Use the BOP locator after sentencing and intake processing. |
| Receiving agency unclear | Request the underlying movement, transfer, or discharge entry. |
A court order can authorize release before operational checks are complete. Conversely, a county event may post before the receiving system displays the person. A short delay between sources is not enough to infer community release.
Federal Immigration Release Evidence
The strongest verification packet uses two complementary sources. Start with the Latimer County discharge or transfer event. Add the federal source that fits the authority, such as an ODLS result, federal docket and USMS confirmation, or BOP Released entry. Preserve the exact labels and dates.
- Community release
- The person leaves the relevant custodian without an immediate transfer shown to another authority.
- Agency transfer
- One custodian relinquishes control directly to another.
- Detainer
- A request or notice that another authority may take custody when the first hold ends.
- A-number
- An immigration identifier used with ICE's search route.
- Federal register number
- An identifier used for the BOP inmate record, not the ICE search.
No ICE screenshot is used because the corresponding manifest capture failed. The page remains text-only rather than borrowing an unrelated image. Official search links provide the live access routes without implying that a captured screen proves an individual's status.
Federal Custody Release Limits
Neither an empty ODLS result nor a missing BOP record proves release. The person may be in USMS contract custody, another criminal-justice system, or a location not shown by that search. Likewise, the end of a county case does not automatically resolve a federal or immigration matter.
For a named person, begin with the last confirmed custodian. The Latimer County released inmate search explains how county, court, ODOC, VINE, and federal evidence fit together. Use the sheriff's receiving-agency field to select the federal branch.
Keep the conclusion narrow. State that Latimer County custody ended, that ICE or USMS was named, or that a federal system reported release. Do not claim broader freedom unless the records resolve the other known custodians and holds.
For older events, online locators may not supply a complete history. Keep the county booking and case identifiers, the federal case number, the A-number or register number when applicable, and the date range. Those details let the correct custodian distinguish the person and locate an existing movement or release document. Request the record from its creator instead of asking one federal agency to explain another system's custody.
