Latimer Supervision Release Meaning
ODOC community supervision is a state network, not a detention facility. A parolee has left prison under conditions for the unexpired term. A probationer follows a court-ordered community sentence and may never have served an ODOC prison term. A suspended sentence is also not proof of prison release. The status must be tied to the judgment and the custody history.
Supervision begins after the required processing, but the state record does not replace the Latimer County jail's physical discharge event. If a person was held locally, request the county date and manner of discharge. Then use ODOC for the reported supervision status and assigned office. A person can also have an open case or registry duty while living in the community.
| Status | Source | What it proves |
|---|---|---|
| County jail discharge | Latimer County Sheriff | When local physical custody ended |
| Probation | Court judgment and ODOC record | Community supervision ordered without equating it to prison release |
| Parole | Board action and ODOC record | Conditional release from state prison and current state supervision |
| Discharge from supervision | ODOC termination or discharge record | End of the supervision component shown by ODOC |
Verify Latimer Supervision Records
Begin with ODOC Offender Lookup. A DOC number is the best search key. When searching by name, compare age, photograph, case, court county, and incarceration history. Read the exact state label. “Probation,” “parole,” “GPS,” “inactive,” and “discharged” should not be collapsed into one broad release status.
- Search the ODOC record by DOC number or carefully matched name.
- Connect the result to the Latimer County court case and judgment.
- For parole, check the applicable Board docket and validated result.
- Ask ODOC to confirm the current officer and reporting office.
- Use the sheriff's discharge event for the exact county-jail exit.
- Request a termination or discharge record when verifying that supervision ended.
A failed public search does not prove that the person has no supervision. The name can differ, a local community sentence may require a more precise inquiry, or public details may be limited. Use the DOC number and case number when contacting ODOC.
Latimer Supervision Office Assignment
The office assignment is a distinctive local uncertainty. An older ODOC map dated in 2024 showed a Wilburton probation and parole office. The current directory reviewed for this project does not clearly assign Latimer County to an ordinary probation and parole office. It lists Latimer in a McAlester Community Sentencing cluster instead. Those programs and office labels should not be treated as interchangeable.
Use ODOC's current Probation and Parole Services directory and the live offender record, then call ODOC to confirm the officer and reporting location. Do not send a person to the older Wilburton address without current confirmation. Office boundaries and assignments can change, and a person's specific supervision program controls.

Latimer Parole Decision Records
The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board publishes monthly dockets and validated results. Search the dockets and results archive for the person's name or DOC number. A docket means the matter was scheduled. It is not proof that parole was granted or that the person physically left an institution.
Validated results may show favorable action, denial, or deferral. Some qualifying nonviolent paroles can be granted through the Board process, while certain violent-offense recommendations require action by the Governor. Even a favorable result may precede conditions, hold resolution, and ODOC release processing. Confirm the completed event through ODOC and the relevant release document.

Latimer Supervision Status Changes
Probation and parole can carry reporting, travel, conduct, treatment, payment, or other conditions set by the court, Board, or ODOC. The specific order and supervision documents control. A violation allegation may lead to sanctions, a warrant, revocation proceedings, or renewed custody, but the allegation itself is not a new conviction.
Supervision ends through the process applicable to the sentence. A termination or discharge record is stronger proof than a stale public label. For probation, read the court docket for completion, acceleration, or revocation activity. For parole, use ODOC status and the Board record. Community supervision can end while separate cases or registration duties remain.
- Absconder
- A person alleged to have stopped complying with required supervision contact or location terms.
- Revocation
- A legal process that may cancel community status after a violation finding.
- Discharge
- The formal end of the sentence or supervision component shown by the issuing authority.
- Warrant
- A court or agency order authorizing arrest; it is not itself proof of current jail custody.
Latimer Absconder Record Checks
ODOC maintains a separate fugitives search and provides warrant contacts. A fugitive or absconder listing concerns unresolved supervision. It does not identify the person as currently held in the Latimer County Detention Center. Confirm any actual arrest or jail placement with the relevant custodian.
The public should not approach a listed person. ODOC research contacts include 405-425-2570, 405-425-2571, 866-363-1119, and warrants@doc.ok.gov. Give the DOC number when known. If a court case also shows a warrant or revocation filing, obtain the signed document and keep it distinct from the live custody question.
Latimer Supervision Notifications
OK VINE can report custody changes such as release or transfer and can send alerts. It does not provide Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board decision notices. Board victim notification is a separate registration. One signup does not manage the other, and neither replaces a call to the source agency for a time-sensitive status check.
Use VINELink Oklahoma for the custody record and the Board's VINE information to understand the program boundary. A VINE notice can support the time of a reported custody change. It cannot prove that probation or parole has ended.
Request Latimer Supervision Records
Public lookup details may not answer when supervision began, which office handled it, or when it terminated. ODOC's Closed Records process handles inactive files. A focused request can name the DOC number, Latimer County case, supervision period, and the specific Termination Summary, Final Disposition Report, Discharge Notice, or other releasable record needed.
Closed Records can be reached at 405-425-2691 through the forms linked by ODOC Legal Services. Some material may require the subject's authorization, a court order, or another lawful basis. OP-060212 states a $0.25-per-page copy rate. Ask for a cost estimate and the nonexempt portion if a record includes protected content.

Latimer Release Transfer Boundary
The county sheriff expressly handles transports to ODOC and other authorities. A defendant can disappear from Latimer County custody because state reception began. That event should not be described as parole, probation, or community release. Ask the jail to name the destination and check the state record after allowing for posting delay.
Community supervision begins later under the controlling sentence and state action. Pair the Latimer County discharge or transfer event with ODOC history and the judgment. This sequence keeps three separate facts clear: local custody ended, state custody or supervision began, and a later state discharge may eventually end that component.
Latimer Discharge Identity Records
ODOC policy says original identity documents stored in the field record are returned on discharge or parole. It also gives former offenders a Closed Records review and correction route, with records to be made available for review within 30 days under the policy. These details matter after a Latimer County case moves into state supervision.
An issue supplied by another agency must be challenged with that reporting agency. An ODOC-originated error goes to the offender-records coordinator. This is a record-correction path, not a means to alter a valid court judgment. Keep copies of the judgment, DOC number, and release or termination document when resolving a mismatch. That record set also helps distinguish a completed discharge from an office reassignment.
